This list shows that DP V1,R4 CATPart or DP V1,R5 CATProducts are supported, but I am getting a message stating that, "No viewer supported for selected file(s)," for all DP V1,R4 files. Is V1,R4 a typo, and only V1,R5 is supported?

Can Connect deal with point cloud files? If so, which formats?
Where can you find support on alignment of models created in different software, and potentially not aligned on a common coordinate system, and how to realign them within Connect?
Does Connect permit the comparison of 2D drawings against 3D models? Or, offer managed reviewing capability of 2D files in the same manner as 3D files?

Can i upload file in 2 formats like .RVT and .IFC but on my account this two files would be merged in one? From .IFC i would get thumbnail and .RVT i would downloaded?

@Scott, We do not have point cloud file support at this time. Please feel free to add your feedback to the post here - https://gteam.zendesk.com/hc/communities/public/questions/200553599-Laser-Scan-Point-cloud-viewer

For alignment, we use the origin or shared coordinates. There is an alignment feature in Trimble Connect you can use for models that are not using the same origin points. You can find more info on that here - https://gteam.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/204616839-Model-Alignment.

The 3D viewer is able to open a variety of files at the same time. They can be 2D DWG files along with 3D IFCs or any other support 3D file. All you have to do is select the desired files from the data page and click the View button that looks like an eye. https://gteam.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/201485447-Viewing-Files-and-3D-Models

@Olexii, Revit files are unfortunately not supported at this time in the 3D viewer. We are working on a solution for this and should have something available soon. There is more information on that at the bottom of the article above.

    Hi,
I'd like to request an Archicad plug in similar to the one for Revit. And of course 3D view options too. Thanks.

@Goeff, Can you add this to our "Feature Request and Product Feedback" community section here? - https://gteam.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/topics/200033658-Feature-Requests-Product-Feedback
